Was grandpop's old motor, I would like to get it running right, but before that I need to know about the motor. The only serial number I was able to find was on the carb, there was another sticker on the body of motor but it's worn away.

Anyone know what the fuel:eek:il ratio would be for this?

Wow! That's an unusual animal. Looks like an old school Tecumseh engine. You need some serious expertise, so I think you'd better hook up with these guys;

It is a T626 Techumseh / Power Products engine on an unknown jet drive lower. Not and Eska. Fuel mix on those old engines was 16:1, use chainsaw (for air cooled engines) oil.

Actually found out that it's a Power Products motor (stamped on the carb), but they were absorbed by Tecumseh
Found some measurements online, from the bore and stroke it is an AV58.

The horizontal models were fairly popular as dirtbike motors in the 60s and such. Known as the Super 58.

Found the patent for the jet-drive head as well. Still no overall information about where the entire motor is from.

Motor looks like a Schnacke Mid-Jet, made in the early 1960s. There's a set of decals for one on eBay...
