I think I need to reseat my powerhead

I haven't had any problems since I rebuilt my powerhead last month however, this afternoon my wife was in my boat taking measurements for new seat covers and I asked her to start the motor. I turned on the water hose and she started it. Every other time I have ran the boat since my rebuild I was in the boat or behind the motor working on something. Today I was standing next to the motor just watching. I had a steady stream of water flowing out from under the powerhead in the area where the steering bar bolts to the motor. I'm thinking the gasket between the powerhead and the mid section must have been out of place when I bolted down the powerhead? I would assume I need to lift the powerhead and try to reseat it?

Yea, that's what it sounds like to me. Pull the powerhead and replace the gasket. Apply a thin coat of sealer on the gasket when you replace it.
