I pulled a good one today

I cant believe the stupid I did this afternoon. The other day I had rebuild my carbs and this afternoon I installed some new sparks plugs, After I got through I went to start the motor and heard the most awful clunking noise and then a smack. I had left the socket wrench on top of the fly wheel it came of and hit the steering wheel:$ It didn't have much velocity on it thank goodness, The only harm done was that my wife had witnessed the whole thing. Got a good case of the rolling eyes and shaking of the head:/.

Stripped an engine down because it wouldn't start.............................of course it wouldn't start with the kill switch in the "off" position :'(

Glad you didn't get a socket shaped bruise or worse!

Could have been a lot worse if it would have jammed down somewhere and broken a bunch of very expensive electricial stuff! We have to give the wives something to roll their eyes over once in awhile!
