I/O Testing Tank??

Hey just seeing what some of the guys on here that work in shops are using for test tanks for the stern drives? I have a few of the cattle tanks (i think they're called?) for running outboards but seem to be more in the need of running I/O's in the tank.

Seen some shops in Florida that have almost big pools that the boats get backed into...kind of a cool idea...I have a welder we lean on allot of the tools and shop improvements so custom designing something is what I am thinking...

Any ideas....?

you need a tank big enough to sink the whole boat in it for an I/O to make sure you get the raw water pump under the water.

so use the muffs

If you figure out a way to dunk the outdrive deep enough in a tank, don't forget to add a drain or you will be bailing quite a few gallons of water before you can use your boat.

Ayuh,..... That would float all of My boats, one at a time,......

not really, my pool is 10,000 gallons and I would only be able to get my fishing boat and the kayak in it.

Ayuh,...... But I only need it a couple of feet deep,.......

Should be able to float a 25'er in such a tank,..... 10' wide, 30' long, 'n 3' deep, ya got gallons left over,.....
