Interested to see the photos at speed of the plate. I would and wouldn't be surprised if you move it. I could see that lower speed planing going up a mph or two if you raise it. Only boat I messed with that on it was a compromise. Lower hole was better in a following sea. Higher better when you could cruise or run hard.

I'll be getting a water-proof camera system today to hopefully get some images of the LU/ventilation plate area while on plane.

Lots of boats out at the local sandbar (Jetty) yesterday. I am enjoying getting the boat into skinny water (on a rising tide :LOL: ), and the good amount of space at the stern.

I have a new depth transducer on order, since I never mounted the old one. I'm going with an in-hull version so I can mount it while the boat remains in use.

I did another power run yesterday using more trim (65%), but probably still not enough. I got 49 mph @5,200 RPM. I'll need a really flat day, as the prior days were a slight chop.
