I HAVE AN 81 BEACHCRAFT WITH A FOUR CYLINDER OMC<br />IN IT. THE BOAT WAS GIVEN TO ME SO I REALLY DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT. I REALLY JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF STARTER IT NEEDS. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

It needs a marine starter. Hell, we dont know what you're asking. If the starter needs repair, take it off, and send it to an automotive alternator/starter repair joint. They'll fix ya right up, and yes, they'll know it's a marine unit.
