I need sort of a cross-reference

I have a Yamaha stern-drive and I'm currently running a 48-79574-19 propeller. I'm happy with the performance, but I'm looking to upgrade to stainless. Does anyone know the specs on this prop? All that I can tell is that its a 19 pitch. Thanks.

google the prop part number and you will see it is a typical standard mercruiser prop........what rpms are you getting at WOT? Speed? What changes do you want to make?

That is an older 15.5 X 19 aluminum prop that's not offered any more.

The current size offered in aluminum(Mercury) would be the 14.5 X 19.

There are several 15.25 X 19 SS props available from Michigan, Solas, and Quicksilver.

If you visit the prop section, you'll see the props available for your Yamaha drive. It lists the hub # right below the prop number. When you order the prop(from iboats) it comes with the appropriate hub kit to fit your drive; so no worries.

I'm not necessarily looking to change, just maybe get a spare or upgrade to stainless. How can I be sure a 15.25 wont hit the torque tab or anti cavitation plate? The number I mentioned before misses it by at most half an inch.
