I just purchased a 2000 Vmax 200 Hp 3.1 L on a 2000 ZX202 Skeeter from a one owner 3 days ago.
Any suggestions as to maintenance? Filter, spark plug, O2 sensor, etc?
I want to bring it in to a local mechanic and get it looked over/tuned up but want to hear what you guys think first. The previous owenr said he had the fuel injectors changed "recently" (I think in the last couple of years) one went bad so he changed all three and it also has a "new" lower unit. It stalled on me once while idling yesterday and seems to be idling a tad bit rough when in neutral but is fine if I give it a little gas. Runs great WOT at least 65 MPH. I've taken it out 5 times already lol
Also, how do I "unclog" my speedometer?
