Re: I NEED HELP!
Ahoy, Johnnyrocker. Don't get excited, it's an easy fix.

On your transom mount is a plate with the model number. Yours will be 115T*R**.

The 115 is for the hp. The T is for 2 stroke. The first asterisk will be a L or an X, which codes the shaft length. L=20", X=25". The R is for right hand rotation gearcase. The last letter is a year code.

My Yammy is a 130TXRQ. 130hp, "X" shaft, "R" gearcase, "Q" 1992. An "R" year would be a 1993, etc., (up to "Z" 2001? I don't know where they will go next.)

When you have it figured out, go to the nada site and see if they list your model number for that year.

Red sky at night. . .
JB
