Ok let me start this off by saying i am new to this site and new to this 1994 fourwinns horizon se..I bought the boat from a guy who had the outdrive off the boat said he had changed some parts in it and he just didnt have time to put it on..Before i got he he was telling me it needed rebuild or a lower unit so i imagine the lower unit is bad..by looking at it the skeg it broken with about 3/4 left and the prop has seen its better days..My question is im trying to find a out exactly what outdrive i have..94 fourwinns horizon 180 se with the omc/cobra 5.0 model#502ACPMDA the cover over carb says omc/cobra but on side of model it says volvo/penta.The outdrive he gave me which i dont know if its original equipment product #3868076 ratio 1.66 Serial#T0782911 can yall please tell me what to look for as a replacement? Or how much whould rebuild cost versus buying a rebuilt one..Thanks so much and love the site..
