I need help identifying a Mercury Gearcase

Hello,
I bought a bunch of random gearcases off craigslist so I don't have any engine information. I can't identify one of the Mercurys. I've looked at hundreds of pictures online and can't find one with the same driveshaft end, It has 4 water intake holes on the front nose. It had a 1997 250hp sticker. Please help!

Its a 2 hole 3.0L unit . The end is not a Verado but possible a 4 stroke or Honda as they used Merc units for a couple of years...
