I need advice on a sport jet and a manual please.

I just got a sea rayder f16 and bottomed it in the first two weeks!! now i am no longer able to get on plane. It's a sport Jet 120xr. From what i have read, it seems the impeller would be the main culprit because the wear ring does not seem to be damaged. I'm guessing that the crap that got sucked up has altered the specs of the impeller? Anyone have any other suggestions? Also, Besides O.E.M impellers, what other options are there, does anyone have part numbers? A manual would be great if someone has one. Thanks

I had many jet boats in the '70s and I can tell you it doesn't take much to stop one from planing, like a plastic 6 pack ring, a 3in. long piece of wood flooring, 6 ft of ski rope, about a 1000 feet of fishing line and a bikini bottom. Look at that first, could be the problem. Most of mine had a clean out hole you could get to from the top, not sure about a sport jet. I also had a jet ski that some of the sealer between the water pickup and the boat came out, it was very hard to plane. I guess it was picking up too much air. A little silicon sealer fixed it. If you don't see any of this I would guess a damaged impeller is the problem. Can't help on the manual. I find most boating parts I need here on Iboats or Ebay.

I have recently purchased a 1993 Sea Rayder F14 90hp. and wish to change the impeller and 'sleeve' . I was informed by my mechanic that the engine has to be lifted out to be able to get the impeller out. I have looked at See Doo Impeller removal on You Tube and this is not the case. I would welcome any advice and possable YouTube video to remove the impeller and sleeve.The engine is a 90hp. inboard engine.
