I need a new drain plug for my s14r

Well a couple of weeks ago I was sitting on the camp dock enjoying vacation, and pop! the drain plug came out and the boat was starting to sink quickly. It was kind of my fault for buying a cheap plug instead of a threaded one. So I shoved it back in and we took the boat out of the water. This weekend I might take the boat up to a lake near my house. Can someone tell me where to get a threaded plug?

Darrell is a Duratech owner which made a threaded replacement plug for his. I've sent him a note asking for pictures of it. If he provides, I'll forward to you. Do we have your email address at duratech@duratechboats.com?

James, did we determine your boat to be a '58?

No. It has to be a '58 to a '60 because duratech only made this version then. at least i think so. i will email my email to you.

Send your model and serial from the ID tag as well, if I've not positively ID'd this one before, that's the necessary info. Also...was there baked on vinyl on the upper decking before you painted it, and if so, what color was it?

Also...what is the measurement of the threaded hole for your drain plug?

it had sort of a sparkling burnt orange color and the boat is getting registration so ill ID it in a few days.

The bronzy vinyl was only 60 and 61, but your serial will confirm.
