I like to find out right way to replace oem # 321727 (gasket, PLATE to CYLNDER & CRANKCASE). ADAPTOR PLATE oem# 339925. I did both ways. First I did not pay attention to manual book and did with common instict. Sealed all around cold water inlet with replacing the gasket's square corner on inlet side. Make sense to me but later on blow the in section of the gasket and started to leak into exhaust housing on plate. Second time installed same way manual book shows ( picture showing position). Now is leaking into the boat from adoptor plate housing. ( Probably coming from the little water passage on plate.) Amount is not drip I would say pissing into it. I like to find out what is the right way to replace it, seal the all around cold water inlet housing or what? If manual book is right cold water will leak into exhaust from plate. Is this not a problem?

Do u have the turbojet service book? Did it freeze and crack, or get hot at anytime? there are checkballs and springs that keep the water psi below 20psi also that mite be bad.
Be careful with the water in the exhaust, I am putting a new #4 piston and seals in my motor this week because the water came into the piston! I have had several of the surfaces re-milled do to poor machining on mine also to stop that darn drip i always had! Get some machinist dye and spray it and check for a good surface.
Gasket goes on dry if you are talking about the adaptor plate to block

I have a turbojet service book from omc if ya need any info ok.
