That sure does as a ton of room to the stern of the boat. It however would be a bit higher than your current platform (extended one, not so much the factory swim step area). Do you think the height would be a detriment or a plus?

Platforms have sure gone a long way. I like the new ones that now wrap around the stern and the option on the Cobalts that lowers down into the water. I can't believe my storage is so tight I couldn't have the platform on my boat. All summer long when we lounge I wished I had one.

Seeing as we're on the subject.
The Weekender 225 has a swim platform, but my (215) doesn't - the only difference between the 2 models. I don't care for the aftermarket type. Do you think Sea Ray has the OEM 225 platform that I could fit on my boat? Of course my model has been discontinued for 5 years.......

Myself I would like the one level to put a couple of chairs on there & a cooler. The height would not really be a problem as when I am anchored at the beach it's only 3' of water. I am not going to change it but if I ever own another.....

If I didn't already have the one I have I would be writing a check.

As I mentioned on an earlier thread, I am looking at the platforms for my 250. The full platform is only about $150.00 more than the transom mount when I requested a quote. The full model comes with a decent ladder. We are still debating the two models for height vs area. We were leaning towards the transom mount. I think the current built in platform is pretty high off the water for us old birds to get back on the boat. The full platform will add additional height.

Not bad, i think my receipt on mine was just shy of 1,800 and that was 3 or so years ago.
