I just wasted I don't know many hours of my life dealing with off shore tech centres

I lost 2 hours of my life dealing with Bell TV, my Canadian sat. TV provider. It took me no less than 20 minutes to tell them my address and phone number, I KID YOU NOT. Then I hang up and the next off shore guy takes me 30 minutes. I would rather have shaky service than dealing with their reps in India. I give. I tap out, call Uncle.

I deal w/ Amazon all the time, depending on what I need, I MAY ask for a US rep, although in the past I have not, the non US folks have let me keep so much stuff I didn't want - pellet rifle etc

They know where I am and who I am when they answer the phone and the first words out of my mouth are.....I would like to speak to an on shore representative and normally they will transfer me to a US based customer service rep.

I haven't learned my lesson. Here in Canadaland they say press 1 for English press 2 for French or stay on the line for American. If you press 2 you are guaranteed you will get an English speaking Francophone Canuck on the line. Me so stupida. Any Yanks here know what a Francophone is?

No? A Francophone is a Canadian that speaks perfect English but gets their rocks off pretending they don't.
