The first time I took the boat out, the live well worked, but no very well.
The next few times, it has not worked. I need to troubleshoot it. Where is the pump located?

Next, can I just try flushing it?

A fishing buddy has a Tracker and I helped him flush his live wells, it seemed to help. Pick a hot day cause you're gonna get soaked.... well I did.

Took a water hose, held it flush with the water outlet in the well and let her rip. A bunch of gunk came out the inlet. Later his son, 12yo, took the hose and pressed it against the inlet at the back of the boat. He enjoyed the soaking more than I did.

I bought it second hand. To be honest, I don't have a clue. But your answer was dead on. Thanks.

I've never bought a boat that wasn't at least 20 years old, so I have no personal experience with warranties...you should be able to find out if it transfers, but more than likely, it wont be covered...that's what I hear when I take my truck in for service.

Trackers are warranted "bumper to bumper" for 5 years, and the warranty can be transferred to a "second" owner.

There probably is a fee to do it. Live wells are specifically included in the warranty.

Since Trackers are not particularly high quality, I'm sure they offer this superior warranty to enhance buyers.

My suggestion is to do the transfer even if you have to pay for it. You should have ~3 years left.

Jim, thanks, I had no idea until you told me. I just talked to the shop. I am going to drop it off Monday and let them go through it.
I would never have known if you did not tell me.

As we say down south, even a blind hog can find an acorn every now and then...I'm glad it worked out.
