i have an electronics problem

i have a 1988 wellcraft 250 coastal boat, with the 225 yamaha v6 2 stroke motor... well the problem is im not gettin any power to the fuse box. i checked the batteries, nd they arent dead. the motor crankes over nd fires up.. i also ran a wire from the battery to the fusebox to see if i can get power to my equipment... and i did get power... wat im trying to figure out is, if there is a main fuse befor the fuse box that might of blown... or what other problem there can be that can caz this... i would really appreciate if anyone got back to me on this.. thanks..

maybe ground trouble. try running a ground to box or acc. and try again.

the ground isnt the problem.. beacause when i ran a wit to the fuse boox i only had to hook up the positive, nd every thing work...

There "should" be a fuse in the wire, but who knows for sure. Thats something you will have to look for. If it's fused the fuse should be within a foot of the battery or voltage source. That wire may also come from the main battery ON-OFF switch and not directly off the battery.
