so after some years of sailing and paddling I have taken the plunge once again into power boating.

last night I became the owner of a 2018 Stingray 208LS. I have looked at boats in this size range for many years but never pulled the plug.

I know I have to get razzed for buying new but the last power boat I bought was used and wound up being a nightmare. I will take the warranty and the knowledge of all maint done to it this time.

will probably bring it home in 4 weeks or so, should have decent weather by then.

here she is

Congrats on the purchase!

Personally, I buy new specifically for the warranty so you won't get any negativity from me on that part either. Let's hope for decent weather soon - snow is in the forecast here this weekend.

Details....what engine? Appears to be Volvo Penta powered...

volvo 4.3 200 HP, 20 ' 8",

I like the walk way through the seats to enter the boat rather than climbing over the cushions.

I think they took the snow out of our forcast but it was there.

They've done a nice job on some of the stern boarding setups on the newer boats. I'm still hurdling the gunwale :)

Congrats. Nice looking boat.

Did you jump up and down on the deck looking for soft spots? It's hard to get away from old habits. LOL

Congrats on the Stingray, Avenger. Are you going to wince drilling the first hole to add something?
