I found a site that I was able to buy a copy of the shop mechanics manuals for my 1956 Scott Atwater 7.5 bailamatic. It has all the info for all repairs for all their motors from 1946-1956, 685 pages. Just have to sort through and find what pertains to yours. Many other brands etc. I don't know if this info has been posted before but it really help me tremendously getting my bailamatic back in action best part mine only cost $4.95 then instant PDFs were on my iPad. I just wanted to share this as much as it helped me.

Are you yang tradebits is a better or similar site? I just couldn't believe the price for obsolete outboards etc. best $5 bucks I've spent and this site is amazing. For a person just getting in to this addiction iboats has some super people

similar with more options.People post their manuals,repair guides etc for whatever price they want to sell them for. Ive found very extensive Seloc manuals, originals etc for under 10 bucks
