I don't know what year my Johnson 9.9 is.

I think it's a late 70's but I'm not sure.<br /><br />Model # 10R79B<br />S/N : E5038089<br /><br />I think the Model number tells me that it's a 79, but again, I'm not sure.<br /><br />Can anyone help?<br />

I believe it may be a 1980.<br /><br />My evinrude 15hp s/n has an 80 as the 2nd to last number, it is a 1980.

10 = 9.9 HP<br /><br />R = Rope Start<br /><br />79 = 1979 Model<br /><br />B = Model Run or Suffix<br /><br />
