I have just about tried everything that i could think of and nothing. I have a sea doo xp that i cant get to start. I have rebuilt the motor and checked and cleaned everything and no luck. It gets good spark, fuel, and air but for some weird reason it wont ignite. I have set the rotary valve correctly well i think i have but not to sure. I just need someone who might know what else i can do to get it running. the stater is good, i checked. Maybe i have something off, but if anyone knows how to adjust these motors please let me know. thanks!

I hate asking this, but can you get it to fire if you spray some starting fluid in the carb? PLEASE don't do this more than once, and just for a second or two, as it washes the oil off the cylinder walls. It's a diagnostic tool rather than a starting assistant.

Are you positive you have spark? Is it cranking quickly? The CDI system requires about 11v to fire, but the starter only eneds about 10v to crank. The battery needs to be in good shape.

Do you have the pulse line hooked up to the carb from the crankcase? Are the fuel lines hooked up properly (not backwards) on the carbs? Fuel selector valve working?

There are many things it could be... but ulitmately, if it really was "getting good spark, fuel and air" it would start!!
Good luck, I'm sure you'll get er goin

The rotary valve is easy to set. Do you have a template? You can use a protractor and cut a timing template out of paper or cardboard. Really easy to do. I printed a 360 degree degree wheel off a web page! Just search for one!
