Just bought a boat with a 1999 454 with Bravo I outdrive.....I cant figure out where to attach the muffs to run it in the driveway. I've had outboards and a Bravo III and Alpha I before with no problem. Those all had a series of vertical holes to place the muffs over.

What am I missing?

The bravo 1 has the same holes as the B3 unless it's been closed off. If that is the case look under the boat for a water intake

Got a pic?

It might have a thru hull intake. Follow the hose from the impeller on the intake side and see where it goes.

You may have the low water pickup at the nose of the drive without side water pickups. If so you will need to buy OEM Mercruiser Bravo Flush Flushing Kit Low Water Pickup part number 849996T1.
If it's not in the boat, you might try asking the original owner if he has the flushing kit as they are pricey...http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...13.TR0.TRC0.H0.TRS0&_nkw=849996T1&_sacat=6000
