I am feeling like a nurse!

Mom fell Sunday night. On Monday she was in a good deal of pain in her pelvic area. Trip to ER and after x-rays, good and bad news. Good news - everything fine in pelvis area. Bad news - as they were taking her to x-ray I noticed a large bruise on her hand (no complaints from her about hand) and told them to x-ray it. Came back as a Boxer's Fracture in her right hand (5th digit). So taking care of Mom.

Tomorrow wife goes in for Carpal Tunnel surgery. So much for being a healthy family! It is hard to convince yourself you are still 29 when all around you are falling apart! LOL!

I can feel your pain! My Mom is 80 and broke her upper arm bones 2 weeks ago after a fall from a chair taking down Xmas decorations. She is now in rehab for 8-10 wks to regain use. Visit daily 30 miles away during rush hr. Like having a second/third job.

Sorry to hear that, glad it is not worse. With both ladies down you will finally get to run things at your house, cause you gonna be chief cook and bottle washer. LOL. Hope for a speedy recovery for both of them.

Just got back from surgery center. Wife's surgery went well. Patient is resting comfortably in bed. Now I have to go check on Mom ...

aspeck. after recent c/t sugery i spent a wopping 1 day recovering and continued on.sugery was a sucess and recovery is going along smoothly.wifey will be just fine bud.wish her well.things could be a lot worse.went to visit a good friend in the hospital yesterday who has terminal pelvic cancer and he told me they now give him 2 weeks on this here planet.now that sucks.48 years old and it spead like wildfire.wish both ladies well for me and what ever you do dont get them a bell you will regret it,lol.

Not making light of the situation(you know that.. ), but after the years raising you and I can only imagine what Tam has gone thru :facepalm:, it's payback time! Glad to hear the patients are resting comfortably. My family sent prayers to your family before supper.......... :angel: Hang in there Art!
