Hi everyone!!

My name is Shane Farrell and I have a question that’s really simple if you have a selco repair manual. (Unfortunately, my mechanic stole it to repair my outdrive) I have a twin 260 hp regal 27.7xl thats having annoying hydraulic problems.

On the port motor I can get it to go down via the throttle control but not up(not even a click). however, if i press the trailer button it then goes up..... I'm thinking maybe a bad switch, any ideas?

strbrd motor doesn’t do anything but i can hear it clicking all day long. via the throttle buttons or trailer button.

all oil resivors are full.

P.S. this would be easy if my volt meter was working or if i had my manual handy. (the reason for me not waiting is because the boats gana be hopefully fixed and back in the water by tomorrow night.

thx!!!!

First things first. Get your drive back and find a new mechanic before he does any damage. No mecahinc who knows what he is doing woulld use a Seloc manual. He knows you need OEM's to do the work properly. The Seloc (and God forbid Clymers) manual is BARELY decent enough for a backyarder to do an oil change.

-M

Port engine, you're probably right, bad switch,(limit or trim switch) check with test light or meter.
starboard engine, bad solenoid.
