Hydraulic line

A small leak on the top nut of my hydraulic line on my trim tilt. Pain in the ass to get lose and find one it's a 94 115hp yamaha. Any suggestions at all. Can I change to a flexible hose mine are stainless now. ? Anyone know??

take the old hose to a hydraulic shop and have a new one made

I would have no problem using a stain less steel flexible hose rated for the applicable pressure.

stainless hoses are rated at 3000 PSI

most tilt/trim systems run in the 2500-2900 psi range on raise

which is why most tilt and trim systems have stainless hoses

6mm hydraulic tubing is rated about 3500 psi

its also dirt cheap and easy to make new lines

Take the old one to a brake shop and see if they can fabricate a replacement. A bit fiddly but there are some crafty people out there.
