Hunter 23??

I just became the owner of a 1987 Hunter 23 with an iron wing keel. She is my first boat. Anybody familiar with the Hunter 23s got any feedback? Ideas? Tips? I'd love to hear what I've gotten myself into! Thanks and fair winds!

she's a fine little boat, I used to work for a dealership years ago and remember rigging several of them. the one thing to watch is the iron keel, it will show rust very easily, which is not too big a problem except that it can slow you down. also be careful of the shallows, if i remember, the rudder draws more water than the keel which means the rudder hits bottom first. bad situation.........good luck
