Hummingbird 3004 upgrade

Hi Guys, bought a boat w/ a hummingbird lcr 3004 on it...I want to upgrade with another hummingbird w/ newer technology but keep my same trans & power cables......do any of you know what units use the same cables as the 3004....thanks

I doubt very much those would be compatible with newer units. If I remember correctly they are the old twist lock style.

Yes they are twist lock.....I saw at the hummingbird sight a 2 pin to 7 pin adapter....do you think this would work??

Don't know as I got away from Humminbird years ago. You could call them and explain what you are trying to do. Hopefully they can help.
