Happy new year all,
Dug out the ol' Hummer and plugged it in to test and check, and it's dead.
This is one I pulled, because I sold the boat it was in and it was fairly new and working nicely. I stored it for three years padded and boxed. It could have been exposed to some sub zero weather for a week or so, but other than that it sat in the box.
I got it out, plugged it in and turned on the line switch, a safety I use for all my home electronic hookups, and ....Nada! zip! not a sound or even a light.
I looked at the board and found no visible damage or burns anywhere, but it is not a fused board so I am stumped.
Voltage goes right to the board plug and that's where I stopped because I think these units are pretty much a one shot deal and not repairable unless you have probes and scopes.
Anyone ever run across anything like that, or have any reasonable guesses why it may have died??
Thanks PH.
