Humminbird Fish Finder not Working

I have Humminbird Wide Eye fish finder. I can turn it on and go through all the menus and even do the demo mode. But when I turn it on to use it, I see just a bar up top and it is not reading depth or anything. All I have is just that one bar up top with a zero beside it. I don't know if this is related, but in the menu, under system, I can't seem to turn it to say system on and not system off. I have download the manual but it did not help. Can any one help me?

If you put your hand or foot under the transducer can you feel the pulses going out. If you cant then transducer could be bad or the electronics.

I do not know your model at all but look for reset to factory defaults and system reset and start from that point.

If it is older than 2 years put it in the garbage as I think it is the worse brand ever. Newer matrix serries seem better but still not something I would buy.
