I have a 595c combo I bought used but works great. I am looking for a card that will give me better information. I have searched and read a lot but either can't find the card I need or don't understand what I'm reading. The book says I need "Navionics Gold Chart marine cartography and Navionics HotMaps 2004 Gold Charts". Here is where I get lost. Do I need to find an old 2004 card? These things cost more than I paid for the fishfinder and I want to get it right the first time. I am really only looking for information on the Great Lakes specifically Lake Michigan. Is there a new card that I can get? Also not sure if I need SD or something else. Thanks for any info.
