my boat is 2200lbs and my motor is 325lbs...so a total of say 2600lbs......do you think trailer hubs that are rated for 3500lbs would be safe enough? i just put these on my trailer and this winter i will be doing some 150 mile round trips to fish once or twice a month...

the ones that came off of the trailer was alil thicker it seems.

Re: Hub rating

I'd be comfortable with your setup. Here we are in Skagway from SC w/ a boat that's heavier than yours on a #3500 single axle trailer. The trip was over 13,000 miles and no problems!

Re: Hub rating

Typically, a hub is rated the same as the axle it is fitted to...in other words, you don't have a choice. If you have a 3500# axle then you have hubs that are rated for half of that.
