#1 on the list of "must do on turkey-bird day".. Listen to Alices resturant massacre at least once... it's tradition..<br /><br />#2.. Dinner with the folks and some friends.. Probably be 6 of us eating gobs of my Pop's famous smoked turkey... Gawd, the old man can fix up a turkey.. >drool<

Hmmmm another disfunctional Thanksgiving? I don't think so. Immediate family will be delivering meals to homebound and elderly for the Salvation Army. Then, a sandwich and late afternoon football. Bah Humbug!

The usual family fiaso--er, I mean get-together... The last two years my mother has won the pool on how long it would take for my father and his sister to start fighting. I haven't won in 4 years!

Going to my folks house along with the rest of the family. They also have a couple of their friends coming. <br /><br />My mom is known for finding out what every ones favorite dessert is and having it there... The only problem is that after all the turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, muffins, and cranberries - nobody has any room for dessert!

headed up to jersey for the long weekend to spend time with the family.<br /><br />thursday will start with breakfast at my aunt and uncle's place, which happens to be next door to my parent's place. then head to see my HS play football at 10. thanksgiving morning football is a tradition where i grew up. head home after the game. dinner is either at my aunt's or mom's place. we're not doing turkey, we gave that up a few years ago. we decided it better to make things everyone really wants, so i think we're going with fillet, some seafood, etc. we'll eat early, around 2 or 3, and settle in for football.

Original plans were for the family to head to Columbus to the eldest boys house for the day. But Dad just got outta' the hospital and the trip is a little outta' the question. So now, all the girls will be at Mom's house cooking and putting on the traditional Thanksgiving day fair. My youngest son's very pregnant girl friend will take her first family setting with us. So I'm looking forward to that. They kids found out just the other day that Heather is carrying a girl. So, it'll be a good day...family together, no one missing and a new member on the way....... <br /><br />You folks over on the East coast that'll be traveling.....do be careful. The prognosticators are saying a bunch of snow for you folks. Give yourself extra time for travel.<br /><br />Hope everyone has a great day!
