if your motor has petcocks on the block make sure they drain completely , petcocks can and do get clogged while draining!!! i replace more engines that are frozen and broke due to the petcocks not draining properly.most people want to make the winterizing process as easy as possible so they install petcocks where the plug used to be -bad move, stick with the plugs and use a wire to poke in the hole to make sure all water has been drained.{this is a message for all i/o owners}

New guy here. I have been checking out all OMC stuff and ran across this site. brownsmarina.com/tech-winter-inboard.html Seemed to cover everything about winterizing.
