Is on a seperate drive than your main one or just all on the one drive. Did you full install it or just upgrade. Is there Data on the drive that you want to keep or is it a brand new installation?

I second EFIS advice. Need more info. If it's a second drive you can goto my computer, right-click on it, a menu should pop up, and then select format. If it's your primary drive then you will need to boot to some sort of alternate media (floppy or a self-booting CD).

- Brian

Guess I was about as clear as mud on that one :(

Learned a lot today about installing xp

This was a upgrade going over 98 SE
Since it was not partisened (sp) and I said I wanted to keep my existing files it installed its self on my seperate Data HD

I now have a full blown version of xp-pro.
Have disconneted the data drive completely
It still has xp on it but will deal with it later.

Just wanted you to know I wasn't ignoring your help. Even if I don't get xp working with my modem tonight I will still be able to get back on and give a update.
Just power down turn the key and slide this HD, Slide in othe OS 98se HD, turn key and power up :)

Yes I had data on that drive but I transfered it today to the other system this evening.

Will post later
thanks
