How to test a switch box

I have a switch box no. 323-5772 off a 1979, 85 hp. Mercury, is there a test procedure for this switch box
when it is off the engine?............THANKS.......HAS

Here is diagram on how to ohm test diode in pack but no way to check internal rectifier, capacitor or operation of SCR,s Got it and replied....
