Just bought 2 very nice foam filled bolster style captains seats for my bowrider. I am restoring the boat....carpet is out etc....so I have to store the seats either in my garage attic or in my company warehouse. Mice or rats ( could ) be an issue I am not sure......What is the best way to store these seats for the winter????? I am thinking wrap in a white sheet then put in heavy gauge lawn and leaf bag and twist shut. Would mice even like it more like this...like a big cushiony insulated house? Or...my garage attic same idea but maybe less mice......I dont think they will fit through the attic door though. Do the seats need air flow?

Thanks

Screw an I-bolt into one of the threaded mounting holes, attach light rope, hoist up to rafters, secure.

Throw a dust cloth over them if you wish.

This will keep them away from the rodents, and off the damp floor.
