How to replace the impeller on an '03- 30 hp?

I recently purchased a gregor alaskan baja and a 2003 30 hp honda on it.
The guy looked me straight in the eye and said it had low hours and ready to fish...I just sold a 25 hp that day which was a screamer so I did not run it and took his word..got down to the harbor to fiddle with it and noticed it was barely peeing ..after warming it up it got worse and when you revv'd it it shut down to a dribble. My other motor pee'd like a race horse..the guy knowingly sold us a bad motor and would have seized and stranded me if I wasnt paying attention.
How do you replace the impeller on this? and what does it cost to do it yourself in parts? and also what would a shop charge for this? I am mechanically inclined but a but hesitant to tear it down with the intructions or book.

try blowing compressed air up the pee hole first
sounds like a restriction not the pump
these motors have small passages for cooling
we just had one uncrated do the something, it had sucked some paper up from the packing
