how to replace a hub?

I ended up bending the axle back and now I need to send back the incorrect one.

Anyhow, I have a leaking hub and need to replace it. I can find the online instructions etc. How do I know what size etc to get?

Anything to watch out for and any tricks that will help me?

Should I just replace both?
