How to repair or replace OMC Tilt/Trim motor cover

I have a 1982 Seaswirl with a 3.8L OMC Inboard/Outboard. It was my dads boat and needed some TLC. I replaced the transom boot because it had a tear in it. The engine lowering mechanism works great but will only come up if I assist the outdrive by either having someone toggle it up while I lift or by hooking a rope around the bottom of the motor and pulling a little from the drivers seat (standing up). I decided to check the oil in it and low and behold it didn't look like there was any. I started removing the 4 screws holding the cover on and water came pouring out. As I got the screws loose I realized that one corner of the cover plate was cracked. Of course the gasket & O-Ring were shot. My best guess is it was leaking water, when my dad winterized it the water was never taken out of the tilt motor area and it froze and cracked the plate. I've attached two pictures amd am wondering if there is an easy way to repair the cover plate (glue back together with JB Weld, 3M 5200 permanant adhesive etc)? Or does anyone know what this part is called and where I can order it? I have looked through various engine diagrams for this engine but can't figure it out. Thanks for any help. Good job Bruce! FYI Mine was full of water too. I was able to get the o ring from BRP. From now on, I plan on making that part of my winterizing procedure. Also, the tilt motor could be getting weak, and you could be dealing with two problems. Might have to swap that too while your in there...
