How in the world do you remove the starter from this engine. No help in Seloc manual.

C Chris1956 Supreme Mariner Joined Mar 25, 2004 Messages 28,662 Nov 11, 2014 #2 I had a '73 which had the same starter. If I remember correctly, remove the starter cable and ground, remove the bottom bolt, and the starter should move down and pull out of the top bracket.
