It worked great last year now most bets are off. Use to be able to post direct with a iboats link, now it's direct IMG. I'm starting to keep notes because a site like Heavy Equipment Forum will only do it if it is uploaded to the forum, but here it's the opposite

There is a You Tube put on by a member of an easy way but now that method doesn't work

I'm guessing the "op" figured it out--So I'll pick up some pieces.I'll take #2,for a start.I've got win.7 now,the tro. is before I could resize my pics.with ease,& no tro.posting and attaching same.Now when I re-size within "paint"program,and post or just try to see a fellow members pics.I click on pic.and the screen turns a shaded dark color??What on earth have I done??thax

Good morning
The basics is where it started. Select the Pic icon and the window comes up. You then have to use the basic uploader (bottom right) because the "select files" button will not work.

Use to be able to upload direct from photobucket and attach, but now you have to use the IMG link. Can't use WYSIWYG because the return/enter key does not function in this mode. The advance function also doesn't work as indicted because of the same basic uploader function. I'm able to work around the issues, but new folks are having problems and it use to be nice to point them to a how to.

Hey Guys, I'm the member that posted the aid on how to post videos to iBoats. You are correct that it no longer works. Here's how to do it now. Upload your video to YouTube or select the video from youtube that you want to post. Click on the Share Link just below the view window in YouTube. The link will be highlighted in a window. Copy this link. Return to iboats and Click the Go Advanced Button. Click the film Strip icon to insert the video. Paste the link in the window. The video will be inserted into your post. Doing this gives you this...

Photobucket recently updated their site and the rules have changed there as well. I will be doing an update, with screen shots, on how to set up a Photobucket account and post pics to it and then copy and paste pics to iBoats from there as well. It takes time to get all this done!!! I'm just and Ole' Dumb Okie and gettin older every day!!!! The key thing to remember in Photobucket is to Find the IMG Code link and copy it then paste it into you iBoats post. That will give you full size pics in your post.
