How to measure a boat seat?

I need to order online a 3rd seat for a 14 foot aluminum.

They come in high back and low back.

If I measure from the underneath part of the seat up to the top of the back of the two on there now they both measure at 21.5 inches.

Or should I be measuring from the top of the bottom cushion to the top of the seat back? That measurement is 17 inches.

Which do I measure so I can get a close match to the ones I have now?

Use a tape measure.

Ya, I know I can call them but they are closed now. I'll have to call them tomorrow I guess.

Spoke to them today. Measured from the bottom under the cushion to the top of the seat back.
