I am towing my boat with an older pickup that has only a bumper hitch (ball). Is there some way to lower the ball so the boat will tow level instead of raked up in the front? Thought about drilling a stinger with a drop and bolting in on to the bumper thru the ball hole. Would that work, or is there a better way?

You could always put smaller tires on the truck to make it sit lower ;)

Or better yet, put a lift kit on your boat trailer :D:facepalm:

or BEST answer is get a class IV hitch for the truck.... they can be had for about $100 and are head and tails above bumper ad on's
