Found this pic of a new way to carry your boat. Must have to back up quickly then stop at the edge of the water. Ha Ha!!! Nice truck-new boat -no money left for trailer Priceless<br /><br />

Rig is probably used to do one of two things.<br /><br />1. Deliver new boats from manufacturer with a trailer in tow with 2-3 other boats on it. In this case it is loaded with a fork lift probably.<br /><br />2. Pull a travel trailer or other type of trailer and the owner wanted a way to get a boat along also. The whole cradle may tilt down so all you need to do is back up to the water and unload. You need a deep ramp though.

That would make a great delivery vehicle wouldn't it. It'd be safer against thieft than just sitting on a trailer.<br />Examining the photo I can't see any specific loading/unloading equipment so think it's a forkhoist job. I like it!<br />Ross

I think I saw part of that rig yesterday. Tried to go under a low bridge. State troopers were picking peices up from road. Never saw truck, just part of boat. Don't think was same boat but I felt bad for whoever it belonged to.

Launch should be a breeze. Down the ramp at 60 and hit the brakes. Otta do this at a deserted ramp though. :)
