New owner of a used 2007 Splendor Boat with Mercruiser 350 Mag Horizon and Bravo III. SN Engine 0W653592 and outdrive 0W917189. Everything is new to me with this engine and appears hard to get too. Have order a Mercruiser shop manual but they say it will take weeks. Searched online for shop manual pages having to do with installing the outlet hose coming off the backside of the Sea Water Pump, but could not find it online. My real problem is getting to the hose, don't know what I have to take off to get to it. Actually real problem is that it blew off I think because of sand and/or mud being sucked into the system and assume I have a stoppage somewhere in the freshwater system. Plan on starting to back-flush the fresh water system starting at the hose that attaches to the Port Elbow on the exhaust and work my way back to the Sea Water Pump. Anybody every done this? Any help will be appreciated.

Manuals aren't going to help a bit. The manuals tell you to disconnect or connect a hose and do not go into detail on how.
That all depends on what the boat manufacturer built around the engine, and they don't care if you can get to it or not.
I have removed engines just to replace starters, spark plugs, even raw water pumps like yours.
You have to remove what you have to remove, any way you can. There is no book for it

You may to take the other hose off for access, loosen the clamp spray a little silicone spray and push back on and retighten the clamp.

You will want to check the heat exchanger for debris. If you have ever changed the impeller (required every other year regardless of use) and had it in pieces you may have plugged the heat exchanger. ALL pieces MUST be accounted for at impeller change.

Thanks for the link. It appears that this link is for a non-closed system. The Horizon model that I have is a closed system and uses a heat exchanger. I went to the boatfix site but could not find a similar techbook for a closed system. Do you have a link for the closed system with a heat exchanger?

I am finding out the truth to what you say. This Splendor boat has some sort of pump mounted just to the starboard side of the sea water pump so you can not get to pump from the starboard side. Only way I see is by going under the engine but then you are blind to what is happening. I think I am going to start taking things off like you suggested and see where that leads me. Thanks for your information.

Thanks, yes I am going to start taking items off to get to the backside of the pump. I know I will have to back flush the sea water system as I am sure it is stopped up and probably at the heat exchanger which is where I plan on starting my back flush. However, after the backflush I will have to put the hose back on the sea water pump. I am sure I will be back for more advise once I get started. Thanks for the information.

That manual is not the correct manual for your engine. It's for a 1997, not a 2007. Your pump didn't even exist back then.
Here are a couple of manuals for your engine. They won't help with your hose, but there are diagrams of your cooling system.
