How to ID this trailer

Well, not this trailer exactly but I have one that looks like it. Original to the boat I think (90' Sea Nymph GLS195). I just took the boat home last week and realized I don't have the registration for the trailer, just the title for the boat. He says he can't find the registration so before I get over to my Secretary of State could someone tell me if there is a way ID my trailer (like a hull ID for a boat)? I think I would need to have a bill of sale with that info on it. Does this trailer have a make name (or is it just considered a Sea Nymph trailer) as in Shorelandr or the like? Would appreciate any help on this...

Just an update... Secretary of State say that if I can't find a VIN for the trailer then I will need to assign a new one. Could someone please advise where the sticker or stamp should be on what appears to be a 'package' Sea Nymph trailer? Somewhere around the tongue I assume? Thanks.

I don't know if the location of a trailer info/VIN has a standard placement like a car is, but my Escort trailer's sticker is located up front and on the inner main frame tube just after it splits into the 'Y' (behind the winch stand). Port side if I recall. It's a silver metal-ish sticker.

I never liked it there as it's hard to get to if I needed the info! I would think they'd put it on the tongue, but I'm guessing they had their reasons to put it there. Probably because it's better protected from getting torn off. I also wonder why they don't stamp the VIN on the frame? Maybe they do and it's hidden by the paint. Who knows.

Check the NATM site for placement of VIN numbers but most of them are on the tongue or frame near the tongue and usually stamped. Might be hard to find if rusted or painted over.
