How to hook up two trolling motor batteries

I have two deep cycle batteries for my 12v trolling motor. how could I set them up to <br />switch from one to another when one is out of<br />juice, I have a three bank on board charger <br />to charge them.<br /><br />any advise would be great thank you

You need a battery switch that has 1/2/both/off on it. Although when I use two batteries, I wire them in parallel and run the motor off both at the same time. You will get about 30% more run time over using 1 battery at a time.
