how to hook radio up???

how do I hook up car radio, run it direct to battery, or do i run it throught switch board, don't know electrical stuff good. help

Thats up to you. If you go to the battery you will have a constant drain. If you go to your ignition switch it will go on and off with the key. You may need a constant power source for your memory. I cant imagine the drain of the clock on the radio is that much so it shouldn't use that much power.

you could also get the water proof covers and box that they mount it too.
