HOW TO FILL POWER TRIM ON 1982 50 HP MARINER, NO RESIVOR ON PUMP INSIDE OF BOAT AND CYLINDERS ARE ON OUTSIDE ON EACH SIDE OF MOTOR

Looks like BWR1953 in post 7 has the answer
The trim pump is not part of the motor, it's mounted on the boat hull

If the pump is like the picture in post #7, the pump is self-bleeding. just fill it with ATF or 5W-30 motor oil, whatever it already has in it. The trim cylinders are not self-bleeding, however.

Give a pull on the gearcase and see if she moves a bit. If so, they must be bled.
